On a boat trip to the mysterious Mako Island, the girls end up (accidentally) by falling into a mysterious cave, and out of there, the only way is through a tunnel beneath the water. When entering the water, the full moon comes up and hits the water, causing something strange happens.
The next morning, they discover that now, more teens are not "normal" Cleo gets a tail in the bathtub, Nanda entering the sea to swim, and Rikki for being hit by drops of water from the watering can. Something very strange happened to them! But they discover that, when dry, go back to normal, just as it was before. And also they have different powers, Cleo moves water (they can model it in the air as you like), Rikki boils water (not the water, like other things that contain water) and Nanda freezes the water (and anything that contains water ).
